Round 3 is not closed yet. Ha Noi FC against Bac Ninh is still on the schedule, so the table below reflects the standings only up to the end of 10 October.
Hai Phong 1-2 Thanh Hoa
The visitors opened the scoring midway through the first half, Martins finishing off a pass from Lovric. Hai Phong equalised a few minutes later from the penalty spot, converted by Makaric, after Trinh Van Loi handled the ball inside the box.
In the second half Damoth Thongkhamsavath scored the winner, combining with Martins. The hosts pushed forward but could not find a second goal.
Lach Tray is one of the grounds where Hoan Vu runs the perimeter LED, so sponsor visuals along the track ran almost continuously through both sides' attacking phases. That is why many brands choose stadium LED advertising over static boards.
HAGL 3-0 SHB Da Nang
This one was not played in Pleiku. The league organisers approved HAGL's request to change home ground, so the team hosted SHB Da Nang in Quy Nhon.
Luann Augusto opened the scoring in the 39th minute from a penalty awarded for handball in the box. In the 54th minute HAGL doubled the lead from a set piece, the goal confirmed after VAR ruled the ball had stayed in play. In the 65th minute Lucas made it 3-0, set up by Gia Bao. Another home goal was ruled out for offside.
These were HAGL's first three points of the 2026/27 season.
Nam Dinh 1-1 Ninh Binh
The Thien Truong derby was goalless at the break. In the 47th minute Quoc Viet hit the post. Ten minutes later Hoang Duc came off the bench and put Ninh Binh ahead, his first goal of the season.
Nam Dinh levelled in the 73rd minute through Tran Manh Quynh and struck the post again in stoppage time. They were without Xuan Son through injury, and that absence showed in front of goal.
Second Division: Long An 0-0 Thep Can Tho
The round 2 fixture at Tan An kicked off early, moved from 16:00 to 15:30, after intruders cut the floodlight power cables on the night of 9 October. The teams played in natural light and drew 0-0. Thep Can Tho had 52% possession and 11 shots, Long An had 9. It was a first point of the season for both sides.
