My Tam See The Light Day 2 on 21 Nov: venue, tickets

My Tam's Live Concert "See The Light - Day 2" is set for 21 November at Van Phuc urban area in Ho Chi Minh City. It follows the first night, held at My Dinh Stadium on 13 December 2025. According to the production team, early ticket sales open at 11:00 on 15 October and general sales at 11:00 on 21 October on the CTicket platform.

Over the past week the six ticket tiers were also announced, running from 1.5 million VND for the GA standing tier to 4.6 million VND for SVIP. For the first night at My Dinh, figures released by the organisers put attendance at about 40,000, with a 75 m wide stage and an LED screen system of roughly 1,650 sq m.

Moving a show of that size from a stadium into an urban development is a different technical problem. Below is the information that has been announced, along with Hoan Vu's trade perspective on the work behind the stage.

A production view of staging, audio, lighting, LED screens and crowd flow

The section below is general trade knowledge from Hoan Vu, not a description of the show's actual design.

A site inside an urban development is usually limited by access roads and floor loading. Trucks carrying LED cabinets, truss, speakers and flight cases need a wide enough entrance and a workable load-in window, often at night or early morning to avoid peak hours. A pre-build survey measures floor flatness, manhole positions, trees, overhead cables and the clear lane kept for an ambulance.

For an outdoor stage, wind load is the number calculated before equipment load. Every square metre of LED surface is a surface the wind pushes against, so truss, ballast and guy lines are sized by that frontal area rather than by cabinet weight alone. Roof covers, backdrops and side skirts enter the same calculation. The plan for lowering the LED surface once wind passes a threshold has to be agreed in advance, not decided while an audience stands below it.

LED pixel pitch is chosen against real viewing distance. A main screen tens of metres from the crowd can use a larger pitch, while side screens serving nearby seats need a finer one. Outdoors also means accounting for brightness, water ingress rating and heat tolerance, since an LED surface sits in the sun all afternoon before the show.

Audio in an open space runs on two tracks: covering the audience and holding noise levels down towards nearby homes. A flown line array is split into coverage zones, with delay clusters for far areas so sound and picture stay together. Measuring the throw direction and scheduling the full rehearsal early matters, because people live around a site like this.

Power is the part least talked about and the one most able to end a night. Backup generators, automatic transfer switches and separate feeds for LED, audio and lighting keep a local fault from pulling down the whole system. Cable runs crossing audience paths need covers and clear marking.

Crowd flow starts with the gate plan. The number of ticket gates, direction of movement, pinch points near toilets and drink counters, emergency exits and first aid posts all sit on the same drawing as the stage. At tens of thousands of attendees, one exit sized short becomes a problem the moment the last song ends.
